


Hi, it’s us again. I made hosomakis this time and I think they look nice! I also tried avocado on sushi for the first time and unfortunately I didn’t get the hype 👀 maybe it’s because it’s a different kind of avocado we have here, I’d say less buttery texture and more flavorful (the flavor is similar though). I did my beat for them to look nice because in general I think avocado sushi look like people don’t try much to make it symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing, but now I get that the texture makes it harder. One day I wish I can cut them square shaped, exactly the size of the fish.

Less rice and you’ll get that perfect rice around and ingredients nice and center.

I think the tuna maki have the perfect proportions and the veg versions may be a tad heavy on rice. But beautifully done indeed!
