Pictures from vortex site. Was thinking about doing a chicken like this today. I didn't dry it out overnight like I like to, but still gonna try it.

I love mine, I haven’t tried it inverted yet but maybe this weekend

I did this over last summer and it was easily the best whole chicken I’ve ever made. The problem I ran into, though, is that the coals only wanted to stay lit on one side. You could pour them all around, but they would go out every, but one small area. It still turned out amazing.
