Perfect crispy tofu recipe: press for a while, freeze, thaw (and squeeze even more liquid out), cube, put in an air fryer with starch and spices of choice for 15 min. Literally perfect. The first three stages require a bit of planning, but it can be done ahead and in bulk. Literally better than restaurant quality. Actually, the best tofu I ever had. And I made it myself!

Edit: and a bit of oil (I added sesame oil)

  2. Anyone who doesn’t have an air fryer at this point is a luddite. It’s next level for tofu and a million other things.

Damn I want some tof now

Looks delish. At what temp did you air fry the tofu?

  4. Anything you can do with an air fryer, you can do with an oven.

A small amount of oil and then tossed in a little cornstarch makes amazing tofu. I’ll cook it in the air fryer and then throw it in my stir fry at the last minute.

  6. Can someone crack the code for me? I love to cook and cook all the time. But i cant bring myself to dust off my air fryer. I havent had the aw moment yet that should make me addicted to using it and idk why. Ive used it a handful of times and the out come is never more than shrug worthy

It’s faster, I think Brussels sprouts are actually better in the oven than the air fryer but for faster things like tofu air fryer is way better.
