These look good. Try to even out the rice on the nori more. You also want to spread the rice all the way to the side edges of the nori, then after you roll it closed, place the roller flush with one side and tap the side flat with your hand, then do the other side.

Maybe try making chumaki ,uramaki, gunkan, and nigiri to provide some variation in your rice-meat-veggie ratios and mix up the visual presentation? I love cream cheese and avocado, don’t mind people that hate on it, they aren’t the ones eating it! Sesame seeds and tobiko/masago really liven up uramaki, and gunkan really pops on a plate!

Don’t take photos with the “hashi” wrapped like that. It’s bad luck. There should be wasabi present on the table or in the shoyu for people who really like the stuff. Finally, great job making maki. You have created art and made people happy.
