Sublime! This is a 12 year old bottle from Clos Pons in Costers del Segre is as fresh as a young wine but shows the complexity of aging.
The nose is earthy and filled with cherry.
But then the palate reveal what one can describe as the perfect blend of oak, leather and blackberry.
The finish is long and feels like a fresh dark chocolate with cassis and a vanilla touch served in a fresh stone after the rain.
Punches way above its price point!
