They were both from one of aerogarden’s pepper packs. They were labeled as “purple super hot” and “firey red” (or close to that). They looked identical when they were younger but the one on the left lost a bunch of leaves and came back looking totally different.
The peppers are similar. Small and purple, almost black, then mature to red. They have decent heat, but not much flavor.
Anyone know what these actually are?

hi u/L84Werk. this looks very much like my chinese 5 color ornamental i grew last year. they color from yellow/beige, to purple, to orange and then to red. very fun to see them change colors
