FLYING TO TURKEY FOR A ONE-DAY MEDICAL CHECKUP

This was my first-ever solo trip, and it couldn’t have gone any better. I’ve traveled my whole life but never fully alone and unaware of what the country would bring to me. I loved every second I was there. I felt safe and happy. There was so much to see, and it was all deeply rooted in culture. I would recommend that anyone go to Istanbul, especially anyone interested in taking a solo trip.

Some things I did and think are must-dos:
•Visit a Haman: what that woman did to me in that room was sacred; she rubbed off years of dirt, and it was just a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wish I experienced every day
•Visit the blue mosque, and across from it is the Hagia Sophia: these two mosques were so beautiful and brought so much peace upon me, but the Hagia Sophia is a mustttttt, the history behind that place is insane
• Have brunch at the Seven Hills: before u visit these two ^ the best breakfast with a view of the mosques
•Visit the Grand Bazaar: I will forever be a market girlie and this was one of my favorite parts of the trip. I tried to go every day. This is the oldest market in the world and omg it has to show for. It’s so big and has everything you could ever imagine, and most of the things you want to bring back you should get there
• Side quest: if you’re interested, get all your beauty (and wellness) treatments there, it’s so inexpensive and they do such a good job
