Don’t worry I’ve argued with plenty of people in this sub that would eat this shit up with a smile on their face

Only 35/lb what a fucking deal!!
I’m going to take my hipster ass up there and let them fuck my wallet

I hope the reason that brisket is so dry is because they saved the juices to lube me before they f**k me with those prices.

I’ve seen “Smoked my first brisket today!” posts on this sub that look better than what’s pictured here.

Imagine how many Costco Pizzas you could get with that?
Would be an even better Super Bowl then just having brisket with nothing else because you spent to much on the brisket itself

This isn’t fuck you money, it’s fuck me money

But it’s USDA!

I would rather shit in my hands and clap than pay $35/lb for brisket. And USDA Texas – forgot to add “Prime”?

6 lbs before or after cooking?

Good for them. Wish I had the nuts to mark my brisket that high

I have seen “oops” “how can I save this” pictures that look juicier.

I’m in Canada. With the exchange rate that’s about $310 Canadian dollars for 6lb (pre-cook weight no doubt) of an unknown grade of shitty dry ass brisket.
When it’s on sale, I can get Canadian prime grade brisket for $5/lb.
That means I can get about 62lbs of brisket for what they’re charging for 6lbs. 10x the amount. Insane.

Well they at least put the “just “ in the right spot

A local guy here does a full brisket, 2 racks of ribs, and full size sides for like $250.

Going to try and justify this price. It’s common to charge 4x food costs. A 6lb cooked brisket is a 12 pound uncooked one. (Yes, briskets according to Aron Franklin should lose 50% of their weight when you cook them) Plus several pounds that get trimmed off. Even if you don’t count the trim, 215 divided by 4 is $53.75 which sounds about right for a raw brisket.
Now consider that this is a bbq subreddit where we all make our own food at near cost. But there are a lot of people who don’t and can’t. Your average person couldn’t make a brisket like this. Shit, some of you here couldn’t.
Would I ever pay this much? God no. Would I mock someone who does? No. Would I shit on a restaurant that charges 4x food cost which has basically been the standard since forever? Also no.

“At just 6lbs for 215$”
That’s not how you sell it…

Dude my mother bought two briskets for Christmas. They came cold & vacuum sealed inside a pan with a pack of sausage still in its OG wrapper. Stupid people are out there, my mom’s one of them. If I’m not mistaken she paid $130 for each shitty brisket.

I wish I could have that! That is an awesome 👌 deal!
