What kind of boat are you working on? I’ve considered taking the leap and working on the water. 💧

OH hell no.
I hope your balls of steel don’t get too cold.

How do you get this job?

My kitchen window is great because I look outside and realize I’m not stuck on a fuckin boat at sea and can walk outside to eat a 7/11 hotdog, *whenever*, I want.

I don’t have one. I pretty much feel the difference in the time of day by how many other people are there.

You have a window 😭🤣

I work as the chief steward on a fishing boat in Alaska. The pay is great, time off is amazing, and the views are usually incredible. Sometimes the weather is unrelenting but that’s why it pays so well. Now we have starlink so I can stream videos and music on my 12 hours off shift…wonderful

Does the ISS have a kitchen? I think that window would be pretty spectacular.

You have a swim-in freezer?

I’ve always been curious, what’s the biggest difference between cooking in a galley and a normal kitchen?
What do you make of the seas are rough and the boat is swaying a lot? Some of the big boats can lean quite far, so I’m guessing that makes it tough to keep anything on a burner?
