Decanted and drank over two hours.

Initially a little funk on the nose, was worried about Brett. But it blew over and what emerged was a nice wine.

Castello di Ama never fails and remains my favorite Chianti producer.

Turned fruit-forward with notes of bright cherry, raspberry, red plum, and thyme.

Paired well with truffle risotto.

90 points.
