Curious if anyone has used these (or the other) Ello containers without trouble in the freezer and oven? The Amazon reviews show a few breaks from freezer, oven and even microwave but I’m wondering if they are rare. I have seen bad reviews for Rubbermaid Brilliance glass containers for example but I have never had a problem with them.

Just worrying that I may have wasted money on something that will break easily on me. I know not to go straight from freezer to the oven with them.

I have had 2 sets of Ello containers (slightly different from the ones pictured) for over a year.
I regularly put them in the freezer and also the microwave. Have never had a problem.
Haven’t tried them in the oven, but as long as you aren’t going directly from the freezer, I wouldn’t expect a problem.

I’ve have a different version of Ello containers for probably 4 years now and they’ve held up perfectly fine.

love my ello glassware containers. I freeze, I meal prep and microwave with no issues. bought them at Costco about a year ago. similar style to the pictured but different color way.

Yeah they hold up fine in the freezer. Have 10 total and have no complaints other than the gasket in cover pops out all the time after they have been sealed for a while. But i guess thats a good thing as its easy to clean

I have had them for over five years ..older version and now new ones from Costco …I personally have never had one break but if I’m going from freezer to oven I start in a cold oven and I haven’t had a problem and I’ve never had one break

I go from fridge to microwave and they’ve been fine so far. haven’t done freezer to microwave or oven though. I usually thaw in the fridge the night before.

I use the ello containers with the rubber grips all along the container for a couple years. I constantly use them in the microwave with the lid off. They work great.

I have them and love them and they’re so easy to clean. I want to buy another set.

  10. I’ve had them for a few days and they held up nicely in the oven at 400°F, I specifically bought them to make Shepherd’s pie for this week.

I’ve used them in both the oven and the freezer with no problem!
