My kumato tomatoes were starting to sit too long and I had just bought mozzarella so I thought why not. Forgot I didn’t have any fresh basil so I sprinkled so dry basil on there and let it sit to moisten up

It’s like my brain knows it’s tomatoes and cheese but my eyes won’t accept it’s not sausage and hunks of butter

A billion years ago, I went to an Italian restaurant that made a fried polenta dish that kinda looked like this. I bet that balsamic and the kumato was like 😘👌

Also, the number of times I had to convince autocorrect that it was NOT a “fried potential dish”

  4. * 1 tube of that gunk that accumulates in sinks, *sliced*
    * 2 magic erasers *cut into 2 inch squares*
    * dregs of bottle of old balsamic

Stack gunk and eraser slices, alternating, on plate. Pour last dregs over top. Allow to sit for 1 hour, then serve.

The dark coloured tomatoes definitely didn’t contribute to the look of the plate.
Also you should try some proper buffalo mozzarella, it will change the way you think of mozzarella

Where’s the basil, and why in the name of Mary, Mother of God, is there that much vinegar and not balsamic glaze?
