This is probably Alinea in Chicago, and it’s one of the best restaurants in the world. They are known for this, and if you go there to book this experience, it’s because you booked this experience. If you want cake, order cake. Christ.

Alinea. Amazing. One of the most beautiful and delicious meals you can have. Expensive, but if you understand what goes into creating it, it’s clear why. One person’s “that’s ridiculous” is another’s “fucking love that”.

It cracks me up how the server puts so much work into the delicate streaks of sauce only to throw glitter at you and all over them covering them up and then stacking a bunch of frozen lumpy nonsense on the table only to smack it and leave it as a inchoate mess of crumbs

Did she just dump their food all over the table then smash it? Illegal? (Not a lawyer) In a highway truck stop restaurant, that could be seen as aggressive , offensive, and sarcastic worker/customer retaliation.
