Wrong sub pal! go to r/instantramen .

    Just kidding, looks awesome.

  3. This bowl is a literally a 0/10 who the fuck puts chicken katsu in a bowl of ramen. I understand that there’s no need to vehemently hold onto tradition but this garbage would get you chased out of Japan.

what kind of noodles did you use? they look like dried noodles, Chinese or maybe Taiwanese brand. But not ramen.

bamboo looks like it was straight out of a can. pale white like skin that hasn’t seen sun in years (me).

eggs nicely cooked but no marinade?

the katsu belongs on a plate next to your bowl.

Great job, though I’d have added about 27 nori sheets 😂

He said roast him guys… Your ramen eggs are almost as white as you, because that ramen looks like someone tried to make ramen without knowing what ramen is!

But in all seriousness, quite a solid attempt for a first try. Some critiques would be to find ramen noodles, do a slight marinade on the eggs (or don’t, cause unmarinated is fine too), and maybe refine the toppings a bit. Pickled ginger is an interesting choice, not a typical ramen topping – if anything would work better with your katsu on the side. I personally find canned bamboo somewhat repulsive so I would leave it off if you can’t find menma or at least poached bamboo hearts. But this is way better than people cheffing up an instant ramen and calling it their first ramen attempt.
