I literally clicked because I was like is this the second batch after a baking accident or something, because these were cute. I get that feeling of not having your stuff come out the way you wanted it to in your head.

I think you need sleep cause these are amazing, but I know when I’m stressed or under a deadline and tired, I’m way harder on myself than I deserve.

They aren’t the cleanest, but it gives them a watercolor effect. Like a Monet painting, or a scene out of What Dreams May Come. They almost look like they’re flowing. Harness that technique on purpose.

We are always our own worst critic! Great job don’t be so hard on yourself. I try to learn something from each cake I make, positive and negative. If there’s something you didn’t like about it just learn from it for next creation!

I know how you feel. I spent hours tonight finishing a cake for a customer and I’m disappointed with the outcome. No one else gets it, but I just don’t feel like I did my best work.
