Caramelized onions with whipped ricotta and goat cheese white sauce, cheese, and Italian sausage. The onions were absolutely the star of the show here.

Damn that looks good! Even though I like onions, I’d much prefer the onions on pizza to be caramelized rather than the raw red onions they usually put on it. I guess it’s just harder to cook them and get them from distributors.

I used to go to a pizza place that had something almost exactly like this but with mushrooms. They called it the Mushroom Cloud. It was my favorite pizza on their menu.
