Turkish Muhallebi Dessert Recipe

Pudding amounts
500 ml liquid milk 2 cups
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons flour
tablespoons of cornstarch
Vanilla
Egg yolk
A pinch of salt
A spoon of butter
Mix the ingredients while cold, then over low heat. Continue stirring until the custard thickens. Turn off the heat, add a spoonful of butter, mix, cover, and set aside.
Caramel:
On a non-stick sheet
Sprinkle a quarter cup of powdered sugar (fine sugar)
Leave it until it turns blond and caramelized.
Pour two tablespoons of custard mixture over it.
Spread it with caramelized sugar everywhere on the tray.
Leave it for a few minutes, pour the rest of the mixture over the fire for 8 minutes only, and then turn it off. Do not cut it until it cools and solidifies completely, which takes at least two hours.
It was a sweet and bittersweet experience. Try it and you will like it.
