I’m attending an Oscar party this year and planning on bringing themed cookies. One of the designs in my mind is a Dune sandworm mouth. Circle cutter shape, just showing the mouth.
I’d love advice on what frosting tip to choose and technique tips on application for the “teeth” and avoiding monotone color.
Thanks!

Choose a different movie. These will all just look like butt holes.
maybe using a thicker consistency icing to make a ring that the hair strands can lay on top of? to help create that 3D mouth shape? it looks like it would just be time consuming to pipe the hairs but I’m sure they’ll look super cool!
There’s a company that sells chocolate molds of real anuses. That would probably work.
I’d choose something else from the movie 😂
I made portrait cookies of Kyle McLachlan, from Dune, specifically once. I can’t attach a photo, but it was pretty great.
This is disgusting. I approve.
Hard to explain but I would do something like [this lion face](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cee96BIJV_A/?igsh=MjVqcnpkbWZidDQ=)
I would flood the ground in a dark brown. Then do the brown lines. Maybe do two shades of brown lines. You don’t need actual tips for your bags, just do a tiny hole in your bag and use a consistency thats about the thickness of toothpaste for the lines. Good luck!
