INGREDIENTS
3 cups of bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of instant dry yeast
2 cups of warm water

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
preheat the oven to 470 F with an oven safe pan (not glass) in the lower rack.
once you put the baguettes in the oven , at the same time pour 1-11/2 cups of cold water in the oven safe pan that was preheating alongside the oven .
this is to create steam, also do these steps quickly so the oven temperature doesn’t drop too much.
once you close the oven door , drop the oven temperature to 450F and bake the baguettes for 15 minutes.
now open the oven door, take the pan with the water out of the oven , close the oven door, drop the temperature to 425 F (preferably with the fan on) and continue baking them for another 10-15 minutes or until nicely golden brown.
