You ever have waffle house chilli? Tons of onions. Very good

You cook it all in the same pot. Onions, and other veggies, first. Meat about half way through.

No reason to clean two times the dishes.

  3. Sorry I had to downvote, no onion left behind and I never want to see any left in the pan again. Every last bit of onion needs utilized

They’ll get to know each other in the pan

But all that flavor is in the pan not the chili 😭

We’ve been chopping two big yellow and two medium red for our chili.

People will really debate whether or not beans belong in chili when I guarantee you there’s at least a handful of psychopaths out there who won’t put onions in chili

Saute them in the bottom of the pot before adding the other ingredients.

You use less dishes and you won’t leave any of that delicious onion flavor behind

I dontake many cooking tips from sitcoms, but Kevin Malone was right. You need to undercook the onions.

  10. I like onions in chili, but I like them to be more finely diced. I am surprised that you add them at the end. I always saute them first then add the meat.
