Best fine dining, tasting menu meal I’ve had in Honolulu.
**TLDR**: every dish was a success. The cuisine was all creative (one of the best caviar courses I’ve had) and I really enjoyed the team. The big caveat though is the bar seating. I don’t generally want to be paced with an entire group of diners, so I would rate this even higher if not for the meal format.
**Food:** great menu design, the caviar was served on a semifreddo and the balance of sweet, salty and temperature contrasts were incredible. Foie was great and so picturesque. This chef is firing on all cylinders and was great to interact with.
I would go back in a heartbeat, but suggest maybe it’s best suited if you have a group. I sat next to a talker who was 20 minutes late and inconsiderate of other diners, which distracted from the experience slightly.
rsvandy
This looks a lot better than the a la carte dining there.
