Hi there, I bought couscous today and when I was pouring it out, I noticed these black grains/bug bodies/poo? In the packet with the couscous. What they are and is it still safe to cook the couscous?

I personally wouldn’t really even notice them. If I did I’d pick them out, but eh.
It’s a natural product. Could be bits of bugs, sand, random debris. I doubt it will kill you or make you sick.
Is this all you found or is the couscous absolutely filled with them? If it’s just this I’d let it be. Otherwise contact the manufacturer.
