PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – The Thanksgiving holiday might be over but there is a good chance you still have some leftovers taking up space in your refrigerator.
Thankfully, there are some simple meals you can make to help get rid of some of those turkey day foods.
One easy recipe to make is a griddle cake mix that uses stuffing, turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes.
To make mix the leftover stuffing with an egg until the dressing holds together and is molded into a patty, then put it over a medium heat pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.
You can pair the patty with mashed potatoes, gravy, turkey, or ham.

It’s important to note that you shouldn’t leave leftovers in your fridge for an extended period so if you want to use them then it is best to do so either today or tomorrow at the latest.
“The FDA says that you really shouldn’t hold stuff for more than five days and that it’s from the day prepared,” said Gulf Coast State College Culinary Instructor Chef Jacob Fravel. “So Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and we’re on Monday, which is our fifth. So you probably should eat it tonight, very early tomorrow at the latest.”
It’s even possible to make a vodka cranberry sauce cocktail with your leftovers.
To make one fill a shaker cup with cranberry sauce, one fluid ounce of lime juice, and ice.
Shake the shaker cup and strain it into a glass with ice and six fluid ounces of club soda.
This drink can be both a cocktail and a mocktail.
