I got super excited and was eating 1 serving a day for like 5 days in a row. Then started having severe bloating, seeing no change on the scale, and even back pain I think from the bloating lol. It has to be from this. Has this happened to anyone else on this sub?

It’s possible it’s the fiber. Fiber is amazing for your gut health, but you absolutely need to stay hydrated. Otherwise it can cause discomfort
Too much fiber in a lot of those types of processed foods. Drink a lot and take a break for a few days (or forever lol).
No, I LOVE this brand pasta- it’s literally let me keep eating pasta although it is pricey.
So ive tried other ones. For me its 100% the fiber lol gave me bubble gut for a day and bad poops. I just adjusted my portions to do less noodles and more protein and its fine
Why does this look like a cleaning product or bug spray to me? Like the graphical look of it, I mean.
It’s my fave! I eat it a few times a week. My guess is all of the fiber. Maybe reduce how many times you eat it in a week
This pasta simply doesn’t make sense to me when comparing the carbs and other nutrition. I’ll stick with small and normal pasta thank you.
Where does everyone buy this 😱
Yup, the fiber boats me up super badly. I bought a ton of it though, so I’ve got a lot to use up… I’m definitely not eating it 5 days in a row again, though.
Your body needs some time to adjust to the higher fibre intake. Each serving of this pasta has 24g of dietary fiber. Most people don’t get enough fiber, but wheat replacements can easily give too much for now. Watch out for things like 0 net carb tortillas and bread, as these will also be high in fiber. Over time your body will adjust and digestion will improve. Make sure to drink lots of water as well.
%100 the high fiber if you dont already have a high fiber diet
So I wanted to make a huge recommendation when it comes to fiber products like these. A lot of people have this and they never eat it again due to stomach discomfort. But if you eat it three days in a row, your stomach will get used to it and you will be able to handle it! Power through it because the best dieting products are high in fiber!
I wish we had this in Canada I want to try so bad! Next time I’m in the states I’m gonna stock up
How does it taste??
✨drink water✨
Fiber isn’t digested when you eat it, meaning it can’t be broken into things your body can use, like sugars or fats. Since it’s not getting used, it can ferment (produce gas) in your gut, causing bloating. The bloating stretches your intestines like air in a balloon, which is painful.
Depending on the type of fiber, it can also either absorb water to slow down digestion (think about how gelatin combines water with sugar and other ingredients to make one solid mass of Jello instead of just sugar water, and then think about how hard it would be to force Jello through a garden hose as compared to water), or just attract water without combining with it, therefore making your stools looser and digestion faster.
Both kinds of fiber can cause gastrointestinal issues: soluble fiber can cause constipation by gelling too much, and insoluble fiber can cause diarrhea by pulling in too much water and moving everything too quickly. Most foods high in fiber have a combo of each, outside of supplements like Benefiber and Metamucil. I’m very sensitive to insoluble fiber, and it only started improving after I started taking spironolactone (it’s a water pill, so there’s just physically less water in my body to get turned into diarrhea).
All that to say:
* Cut back on it until you can see what amount of fiber, if any, is your trigger
* If you have reactions to other foods, you can try limiting those to allow for this stuff (if I eat a bowl of oatmeal with raisins in the morning, I do not eat broccoli for dinner)
* Basically, treat it like a macro with a min and max amount to avoid going too much one way or the other
Same here, sadly. I had no clue it was possible to have too much fiber until that happened to me after eating a ton of this stuff.
