A mother was left horrified after her children spotted a ‘dead mouse’ in her roast dinner – and refused to go anywhere near it.
Harmony King, 40, from Massachusetts, took the family-sized turkey out of the freezer to defrost and prepare for Christmas dinner when she spotted a ‘face’.
Horrifying video footage shows what appeared to be a dead rodent staring out of the thawing meat – complete with round black eyes, pointed nose and mouth.
Harmony said spotting the ‘mouse’ in the meat made her stomach churn. On closer inspection she thought it could also be a bat as she could see ‘fangs’.
The American mother-of-three posted the disturbing video to TikTok, saying: ‘Please tell me that is not a bat or a mouse.’
She added: ‘What the hell is in my wrapped turkey?’
Despite freaking out, Harmony decided to investigate and filmed the results for her social media followers to see.
After bravely cutting into the meat she discovered that the ‘face’ was just the turkey’s neck bone – having given her an almighty fright.
