Hey there, names Bobby Duke. as the title states this is my first time growing from seed, and so far things have been a little up and down. Had some darkening around the edges of the leaves, some yellow leaves, and deformed leaves. To remedy I raised the light, added some nitrogen, and stopped watering so much which seems to have helped quite a bit. All the seeds I purchased from white hot peppers and the cultivars I selected are- BOC x A ji pineapple
Big peach mama
Scotch brains
Jay's peach Ghost scorpion
Leviathan gnarly scorpion
RB 003
And some chocolate habanero for good measure.
Anyways, I'll probably post a few progress pics as they develop. Glad this subreddit exists, as I'm obsessed with super hot peppers, and like seeing other people's posts on the subject. Thanks!

Also, not really sure why the names are all ran together. I actually posted them in a list format but Reddit undid that, that’s why there’s no punctuation in between. I also can’t seem to edit it so sorry about that.

  2. I just planted some Habanero seeds, how long did it take until you got sprouts?

Great job! Just keep in mind that planting more than one plant causes them to compete for nutrients so, provide a nice amount of nitrogen to compensate. Nothing higher than 10. As in 10-10-10, or 10-5-5, etc.

Have fun growing and good luck with those beauties.

You may also want to look for some videos on YouTube on topping pepper plants.

There’s also pepper themes channels on there too like Pepper Geek, Chili Chump, and a few more. You can learn a LOT about peppers from them. 😉
