I have an old beloved Weber Genesis silver C in NG that I can no longer use because I don’t have a hookup and I don’t have the layout. I want to swap this over to a propane source. Is this dumb to do? I’ve done a ton of research on it and came up with this kit to convert. If done correctly this should be safe right? Is there anything I may not be thinking of with this conversion? Has anyone here done an NG to LP conversion?

I did it. You have to buy a new regulator and burners. Do the leak test with liquid soap. I installed natural gas to house. What a change. Stove, dryer , tankless water heater and grill. Grill goes up to 700 degrees and power bill dropped a LOT

Perfectly safe with the correct conversion kit and orifices

  3. Was thinking of doing the same. Please let me know the results and if that kit was the right one
