Too rare or just right?

    I’d eat this, but… for me… it’s a bit overcooked. In fairness though, I prefer them to butcher the cow, slap it on the butt (barely touch the grill), and put it on a plate.

    Just right but by cutting it all up the rare gets a little cold and not quite as tasty.

    The middle is still raw. As in not cooked at all. Even rare steak lets some heat through to the center. This only means you cooked on too high a temperature. The heat didn’t get to the center at all. The glossiness should be cooked out. Lower the temp and you’ll get a solid rare steak

    Its preference. This is perfect for me but any of the Mexican kitchen crews I’ve worked with would not touch this unless it was a solid well done
