Went to the L & L in the lower east side because of all the hype and it was a mid/disappointing experience. My fiance was served very old/expired salad with her light shrimp plate. The side of veggies were clearly microwaved from a bag and not worth the price. The shrimp was lukewarm. My bbq mix was fine… and yes I’ve had plate lunch in Hawaii so I wasn’t going into it not knowing the deal. but certainly not worth the hype that’s been making the rounds about this place.
