would you trim this ?

and do you think it’s thin giving me issues with the cook.

    You definitely need to trim here.
    I suggest you watch some trimming videos. Chuds bbq has a good trimming video and mad scientist has one from a week or so ago featuring cooper from bar a bbq.

    But in general you want to leave a 1/4″ fat cap and remove any part that’s thinner than your thumb.

    Yeah don’t trim too much. Shape it up. Get rid of any hard fat that won’t render.

    Yes, extremely thin. Take it back and get another.

    It’s fine. Trim it like it needs and roll on. It’ll come out just fine
