Finally got my Grilla Chimp started up this week! Can’t wait to cure and smoke some salmon this weekend!

Just got mine last week. I’m smoking some salmon tonight! I’ve had some temp swing issues. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. I fire it up and set it to 250 F on pro mode. It quickly heats up then just keeps ramping up. Got over 350 F and it didn’t sound like the fan was turning off at all. It just kept getting hotter and hotter. I changed it to PID mode and it quickly change to an intermittent fan, but still kept getting hot. No where close to 250F. I put it in shutdown mode. Let it go through the full shutdown cycle and it cooled to 200 F. Then I turned it back on with PID mode, set it to 225 ( in case it overshot again) and let it go. It started to keep temp with small swings from 5-10 degrees. Seems a bit much but this is my first pellet grill so I’m still figuring it out. I thought it would be more plug and play but I guess there is a bit of a learning curve. How’s it working for you so far?
