Maybe try asking Nespresso customer service? They can check the batch numbers

I’ve gotten ones direct from Nespresso before that didn’t have the name on the pod itself.

I could never figure out why some do and some don’t.

No. When they run out of the specific foil for a capsule variation they revert to the generic.

This happens frequently when they run out of preprinted foils (probably when they take a lunch break…🤣). I had a full sleeve of Bianco Forte that way. Keep a sharpie around.

The factory that puts the pods together ran out of the labeled foils. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve never heard of a confirmed case of fake pods.

I contacted support about this and was like yo what’s up with this. They said it was a manufacturing defect, like they forgot to put the next label on it with the name. They said they’re fine to consume and then gave me a credit for my next order 🙂

Therea reno fake Nespresso capsules on the market that anyone has identified conclusively. Nespresso runs out of the foils every now and then. Do try to relax. .
