Lovely set up but can’t help but think how your workflow could be even quicker? Why not steam and pull at the same time, among other things; use that dual boiler to its fullest advantage!

  2. What type of pad is that? Did you make it or buy it?

  3. I’m not going to lie, you surprised me with that latte art

I‘m sorry but this your home setup right?

Why can’t you just use a normal cup and a normal cloth for the steam wand? You don’t have to create so much waste with every coffee you drink at home.

And the WDT you did, did nothing, you have to stir the coffee grounds and get rid of clumps.

I mean I would say you do you, but it baffles me how ignorant people can be when it comes to waste. It’s so easy to wash a cup…

  5. Guy has a beautiful setup, good workflow, and many are busting on him for his single use cup.SMH.let the guy live when there are millions of people daily getting multiple single use cups from Starbucks and fast food joints.

  6. Speed? I don’t know her.

I’m just over here with my all in one where I love like molasses and get er’ done in 5,7,8 minutes? I enjoy it the process.

  7. Where’s your real grinder at?

    I’m envy at that GS3!

  8. PQbutterfat

The machine is beautiful. However, it seems to be at an entirely different price point than that grinder.

Is this your house? It looks very cool with the spiral staircase (even though as a kid I hated those lol) and the natural light looks pretty dope.

As one newly graduated from Nespresso, this was fascinating to me. Thanks!

  11. You tamp like if healthcare was cheap. Seriously dude don’t tamp like that, you can injure your wrist

  12. carltonw700

how much milk was used? 200 what? seems like a lot.. ill have to check how much i use.

  13. indiedrummer7

Cool set up but get a reusable cup and actually reuse it! One use cups are such a waste.

  14. planbot3000

Personally I’d not deal with banging the puck and rinsing and drying the portafilter while the espresso sits.

  15. damianohd

This is great. I’d like to do a similar POV video with my beginner set up

On the single use cup thing… espresso is 10 times better in a mug or cup you made by hand.

  17. Accomplished_Ebb4361

I throughly enjoyed watching that, but I bet it would taste better in a reusable cup or mug 😎

  18. TechnicalDecision160

Why did you weigh the milk? Seems like you were free pouring..

  19. Why even wdt at that point. Just tamp if that’s all you’re gonna do 😂

  20. redtron3030

You can shave 5 seconds by prewetting the towel and having it ready to wipe the steam wand

  21. This makes me appreciate the ease of my breville touch

  22. Rusty_924

    so much hate! man…

there are so many ways to enjoy your espresso/latte. Who knew it can get so controversial. Glad you enjoy your setup and thanks for sharing your workflow.

I don’t dare to share mine. I would get DESTROYED. So I will keep my workflow to myself.

How did you record the video? Do you have some kind of action camera?

  23. Lizzpathetic

Why is the milk not in the fridge but randomly on that counter. That looks like some office with those paper cups

  24. StrangeBrew710

That’s a lot of fucking work for a cup of milk, but do your thing big dawg.

  25. JuniorPossession3038

Everything nicely done, except for the beans exposed to light

  26. mikenasty

This was awesome thanks for sharing. I’m also having fun reading all of the critiques.

What I really don’t get is the extremely detailed prepared Espresso.
And then you will add milk anyway, making the espresso effort basically meaningless
