Just uncover my Primo and noticed this small crack/chip. Don't know how it happened. Only had it since beginning of January. Could I loose and lower the bracket a bit?

Looks like a stress point from the clamp. You should be able to lower the bracket. If the crack does not go through to the inside I wouldn’t worry about it.

It seems to be just on the outside. I am going to clean it out ready for use then I will try and move the bracket down.
Hopefully there’s nothing to worry about. It was brand new when I got it, still in the box. Got it from a guy who won it and didn’t want it so not sure about any potential warranty. Plus here is Australia could make things tricky

Adding another post because I can’t edit the opening one. I have managed to move it down a small amount so the bracket is not touching. A bit more of the outer layer came off but it seems totally on the surface so it should be ok. I will just have to keep an eye on it.
I took another picture but don’t know how to add it to this

Get blast gear, you should be wearing hurt locker style armor when cooking with that kind of damage
