Cooked this wonderful wagyu reserve NY strip (2x). Each steak came in at a whopping 1.36lb! I have cooked these in the past and have found 2 steaks easily feed 4 people. SPG followed by straight into the bag and into the pre-heated bath. Cooked 2.5 hours before searing. A little disappointed my only picture post-flip shows the blind spot in the middle, but I did go back and get that nicely seared by spooning hot oil onto it.
Paired with a fantastic Kirkland signature Oakville cab (at $20/bottle this stuff is an absolute steal). Served with roasted Brussel sprouts, roasted rainbow carrots, baked potato and potato salad. In total the meal cost about $30-35 per person. Very happy again with Costco steak. Really hard to find better steak at a better price these days.

Looks great, pretty much exactly how I do it. 137, 2.5 or 3 hours, avocado oil, stainless steel

I’d highly recommend a trivet or folded towel under the bath so you don’t crack your countertop
