So this is the link^ to a Swedish meatballs recipe I've used before and really enjoyed. I want to use the same sauce in this recipe, but instead of making meatballs from scratch, I brought some frozen Swedish ones this time to make life a bit easier.
I'm wondering what adjustments would be necessary if I'm using frozen instead?
I had asked the author of the recipe but there was a misunderstanding and they thought I meant in the instant pot version. (They have both instant and slow cooker options)
I'm probably overthinking it but I rely heavy on my recipes so.
Can I make the sauce the same way and how much would I need to adjust time for frozen instead of fresh?

Yes – the meatballs and sauce are completely separate. Just follow the crockpot instructions and you should be just fine.
You should be fine using frozen meatballs because they are cooking for hours on low heat. They might be moist but that’s a good thing! I would potentially reduce the broth by 1/4 cup or a 1/2 cup because of moisture that will come out of the meatballs but try it exactly following the recipe and if it is too liquidy you can pour the sauce into a saucepan and reduce it over medium heat for about 15 minutes to thicken it up.
If you want to minimize variables, defrost the meatballs the day before in the fridge. Then you can just follow the recipe, no adjustments required.
