    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

What is tri tip like? Is it just reminiscent of a really good cut of tbone or porterhouse or something? Is it more brisket like than steak like? help me friends.

  5. Looks delicious. I’d suggest a charcoal grill, or flat top, for the end sear. I stopped using gas grills a long time ago. You’ll get better flavor and no gas flare-ups affecting the flavor of what your cooking.

That’s the only way I do it now, I just the black stone to finish instead.
