Had the Meursault over the Xmas period and wow what a stunner. Had with friends who are not big burg fans and they loved it, think the orange blossom makes it a real game changer.

‘Les Longbois’ – Coravin as it’s a Monday, and I’m not a maniac. (Roughly 30mins in the glass to open but didn’t need much, already very expressive)

Light red fruit, some minerality and again a slight blood orange note. Get a subtle smokiness like many PNs towards the long finish. If you want a PN that isn’t your standard, then give this a shot. Feels like there is much more life in this Longboi.

I think this could be lightly chilled and enjoyed late afternoon/early evening in the summer and would be a crowd pleaser.

  1. I am intentionally butchering the pronunciation of “longbois” to make myself laugh – “long boiiiii” as I’m referring to a snake.

Sorry. Thank you for the fantastic notes though!
