I am sone 6b and overwintering my favorite pepper plants (chiltepin). I am 90% sure this is from over fertilizing and one has almost dropped all of it’s leaves in 2 days. Will she survive??? 😖😖

You also planted it too deep and over watered it. Scrape that top soil away until you see surface roots or it will suffocate.

There’s no need to fertilize an overwintering plant. You want them to go dormant or just have some minor leaf growth, and only bare minimum watering until 1-2 months before they can go outside again. Then slowly start fertilizing and hardening off when the weather is warm again.
You may need to repot that again since that soil looks soaked, way to wet.

I rather think it’s overwatering judging by the curly leaves. Nutrient burn show as yellowing tips, followed by drying and falling. Your leaves are small and curly, which resembles edema and not enough light.
