Batch #2 – First theme attempt

I wanted to attempt my first theme and designed these from start to finish. Definitely needed thicker icing for the lettering but overall I think it came out fairly well for my 2nd batch! I was having some trouble with the icing sticking to the bag and/or curving the wrong way when trying to lay down clean lines at some points which was a little tricky. Not sure if it had to do with the consistency or the way the bags were cut. I make sure to put the seam in the middle before cutting but i’m not sure if that is right. I also added strawberry extract to the royal icing this time instead of almond and it’s a nice, subtle flavor.
