This syrup is easy to make and if you make half of it spicy with the addition of jalapeños, you will be able to easily offer a wide variety of cocktails to guests with very little extra effort.
Ingredients:
• 4 Cups 100% Pomegranate Juice

I) Pomegranate Syrup
1. Combine equal parts pomegranate juice and sugar in a saucepan (I used 4 cups of each for my recipe in the video above – this amount yields a larger batch. If you only need this syrup for the cocktail, I’d recommend using 1-2 cups of each).
2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then turn down to a low temperature and simmer for 45 minutes.
3. Allow to cool.
*At this point, you have a gorgeous pomegranate syrup for cocktails, ice cream, drizzling on desserts, etc.
II) Jalapeño Pomegranate Syrup
1. Pour half of your pomegranate syrup into a saucepan.
2. Add fresh jalapeño slices.
3. Simmer for 10-15mins.
4. Strain solids out and allow to cool.
Here are some of the cocktails you can use these syrups in:
• American Single Heart Whiskey
• Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire
• Pink Gimlet
• Spicy Pink Gimlet
