I went to Sam’s and saw that wings were on sale—10 pounds for $25. I figured I could cook them for Super Bowl weekend. What are some quick, easy recipes you guys recommend? I have an air fryer and a grill, but it’s too cold to grill, and my air fryer is only 6 quarts, so I’m thinking the oven might be my best option.

You have the same idea as me I found this recipe on YouTube that worked last time I made wings for my kids, just add at the end what ever sauce your heart desires.

Put in a Dutch over. Barely cover with water. Simmer for 2 hours. Dry off with paper towels. Toss in sauce🤙
We’ve done them in the oven on a wire rack over a baking sheet, they tend to let off a ton of water. I’ve had luck with pulling the tray once they all defrosted and started to lose the most moisture and pouring it all out, then continue cooking in the oven till 165 internal temp. Then air fry in batches to crisp them up.
Let them dry out uncovered on a wire rack in the fridge overnight so they crisp up when cooking.
I’ve never used frozen wings before. How do you do it? Is it just as good as fresh wings? Thanks.
I use the same ones and they are amazing. Thaw for 3 days in the fridge. Drain and pat dry. Put on wire rack in fridge overnight to dry out. Add seasoning and bake at 425 for about 30 minutes.
You can never go wrong with this one.

They used to be $2 a pound.. Costco has air chilled party wings for like 20 cents more a pound. I’d probably do some sort of Asian thing. I like the vietnamese wings style with the fish sauce, lime and nauseating amount of garlic marinade. Or a teryiaki type thing with normal teryiaki ingredients plus some dried fenugreek leaves and Chinese bbq sauce. Deep fried.
Use Kenji’s oven fried wing recipe.
Sauce idea: equal parts peanut butter, Thai sweet chili combined. Your mind will be blown
I use these wings and they come out AMAZING!
Let thaw and dry them completely
(1.5 to 2 pounds Chicken Wings) Toss em’ in mix of…
2 tablespoon Baking Powder, 1/4 cup Cornstarch, 1 teaspoon Salt, 1 teaspoon Black Pepper, 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper, 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder.
Bake 20 min then fry for 5 min.
Toss em’ in your favorite sauce, and serve.
I buy a bottle of medium buffalo and lemon pepper dry directly from Buffalo Wild Wings and I combine them, (sauce first, dry second).
But franks with some butter works well also if you plan to feed many and make the entire bag.
Air fry at 425 using Aluminum free baking powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder and garlic powder.
I like a variety of sauces.
Jalapeno Cheddar 1/2 cup of your favorite buffalo sauce in a blender with a whole jalapeno, and shredded cheese. Pour over wings while hot.
Ranchilada 1/2 cup buffalo and 1/2 cup ranch dressing. Again pour over while hot.
Bourbon BBQ
Mustard BBQ
And of course Ranch or Blue Cheese.
Lemon pepper and garlic parm
Teriyaki too
I like to brine them overnight, then smoked on the Kamado.
Samsclub to the rescue! Freaking local grocer had fresh wing family pack for $4.79/lb!!! NO on principle.
Air fryer from frozen and bbw medium sauce, no body with complain. That bag might take awhile so maybe get 4 to 7 more air fryers.
Korean Wings. I’ve made these tons of times. Note: I would use the Gochugang that comes a bit sweet and diluted.

Those flash frozen wings, don’t absorb seasoning well compared to fresh wings
