there was a period where i was craving a “big mac bowl”, which was ground beef, shredded cheese, pickles, onions, shredded lettuce and 1000 island dressing

This but Salted with an onion was childhood tbh

Unseasoned ground beef is actually good. I like 80% lean ground over rice.

Some of us just have low iron. Stop shaming.

I know you said “unseasoned”. But it will get a whole lot browner if you sprinkle a tiny bit of baking soda during the early cooking stage.

Have your iron levels checked. I have mild anemia, and will get beef cravings if my iron gets too low.

Hell yea, I miss eating this, gonna do it again soon.

Low effort but still kinda shitty. Reluctant upvote.

Do you have a stomach ache and can’t eat your kibble or something

Whenever I have a weird craving I just google, why am I craving milk, why am I craving cold foods. It’s pretty interesting. Ground beef says you could have a positive associating with this food. You’re stressed and your body needs some comfort. Could be low on B12, or protein. Like most people are saying, lack of iron in your diet. It’s pretty wild the body has these cause and effect triggers that make us respond the way it requires us to help itself. You’re depressed, body says, go eat this thing it has made you feel better in the past.

The other part thinks maybe you just had really weird eating habits as a kid and this is your way of going full caveman once a month to keep that part of you at bay

  12. Unseasoned?

    Not even salt?

Were you microwaved as a child?

Ask your doctor about iron deficiency. I had the same thing with beef

You might have more than the average amount of neanderthal DNA in you.
