I made a cottage cheese snack inspired by a caprese salad. 136.1 calories. This could have been a meal, honestly, as it was fairly filling.

I used 1/2cup of 2% cottage cheese, 9 grape tomatoes (I would have topped with more, but I used all that I had left in my fridge), two fresh basil leaves- chopped, 1 Tbs of Balsamic Glaze, and a sprinkle of black pepper.

I do this too! I love to throw it on a nice crispy slice of sourdough and that’s my whole dinner

I have a cup of cottage cheese with tomatoes and a bit of vinegar on it basically every morning. Such a top notch breakfast.

*EDIT: I just wanted to add that my app counted those grape tomatoes incorrectly. A grape tomato is about 8-9g, and 1-2 cals. So realistically, this snack was more accurately about 150 cals*

I literally said “oh my god” like Janice from Friends when I saw the title of this post. this is SUCH great idea!

I am absolutely trying this! Might get frisky and add some avocado slices.

This is one of my favorite lunches! I toss the tomatoes in a teeny bit of oil and pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes. Sometimes I’ll also add arugula instead of basil.
