My girlfriend and I found a bottle of Faustino Gran Reserva 1999 in her grandma's cellar. I know that rioja can be left in the bottle for quite some time but the cork was never changed and it was just kinda sitting down there. Do you think that it has gone bad and what would I have to do before drinking it?

I'm really excited about this find as I never had a wine this old. I just hope it's still good. Thanks for any help!:)

  1. ShockinglyMilgram

Assuming the cellar is cool enough this will be a yummy bottle

  2. Really excited for you. I had a 10-year-old Faustino Gran Riserva end of last year and it was drinking fabulously with still plenty of ripe fruit and a possibility to keep laying, so this bottle should be superb.
