I made up my mind and got a large egg. So happy about it 🙂

People from ACE suggest that I should start with something low temp in case it cracks. So I think my first smoke would be pulled pork! Is there any YouTuber recommendations that I should watch and follow? Or books I should read? Must have accessories? (I did get a egg genius)

  1. Do some chicken or burgers for a first grill to get used to controlling the temp. Even run it without anything in it for several hours to figure out how to set your target temp.

    My biggest tip would be to slowly climb up on your desired temperature and take your time. If you fly past your desired temp, it takes forever to get it back down to where you wanted it.

    After some practice, you can anticipate how fast it’s picking temp and start slowing it down before it blows past the temp you wanted and get it settled right where you want it.
