Visited by some members of the Chevaliers du Tastevin and they brought some amazing wines.

DRC Romanée St Vivant – wow the bouquet on this wine was crazy, my first DRC experience and I really understand why these wines are so sought after. So much life and complexity on the palate, honored to just get a taste. The picture of the wine in a glass is from this bottle

2000 Laflaive Puligny-Montrachet – amazing how much acid is still on this wine, fresh apple and pear that led to marzipan and toasted almond as it was warmer and opened up more. The picture of the moldy cork is from this bottle

2015 Pierre Peters – this wine is amazing, thought it would be too “young” to drink this wine but it’s showing amazingly. Bright acidity and so well balanced.

1990 Jadot – how is this wine 35yrs old?? It poured so rich in color, had ton of tannins still and wouldn’t have thought it was any older than say 5-10yrs. Really showed how well Pommard fruit can age.

2007 Benoît Ente Puligny-Montrachet – by far the winner of the white wines. A bottle I would love to give to the people who say they don’t like Chardonnay. Has developed beautifully over the years and could go for many more.
