I knew someone that worked in the meat dept at Wally world everything comes in frozen.

Have to wonder if they get their meat pre cut or if they actually have a butcher.

I’ve seen some really good cuts of meat from there as of late, but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Enjoy!

  4. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Enjoy the cook👍

  5. That seems incredibly expensive. What am I missing here…

  6. I get the idea of the tomahawk, but I would rather pay for just meat, and not bone.

  7. They do have a lot! Of tomahawk sales. I look ever time I go. Man one of the best smoked ts I ever had was from Wally world

Sitting on the border of spoiled so, no thank you. Just because the myoglobin has sunk down doesn’t make it bad but I can do so much better than whatever the **** that is.

  9. Yeah Walmart has some good meat sales. Wouldn’t buy full price but they got some decent prime cuts on sale every once in a while

I got two bigger ribeyes at kroger for 10$ a piece.

Wow dude you overpaid for subpar meat. I never buy red meat at Walmart let alone for that price with bone weight. But you do you I guess

  12. If Im gonna spend that much on a single steak, its gonna be prime grade

Those look terrible. Go through National Beef. You get 12 20oz prime bone in ribeyes for $285.

Not sure why a bone in ribeye isn’t considered superior to paying for extra bone in your bone in ribeye

I’d eat it but my Kroger had some 3” monster ribeyes for less than this today. I’m in California if that matters.

Tomahawk ribeyes are amazing. But I’ve rarely ever gotten a good steak from Walmart. They really need to get butcher shops in store. Steaks are one of the few things I’ll splurge to a meat market or publix for.
