mouth-watering restaurant-style chicken steak with a rich and creamy white sauce, served with sauteed vegetables! This is easy to follow and requires minimal ingredients. Follow along and cook with me!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breast
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup mixed veggies (bell peppers, onions, mushrooms)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
Marinate the chicken breast in a mixture of olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Grill or pan-fry the chicken until cooked through.
Sauté the mixed veggies in butter until tender.
Make the white sauce by melting butter, adding flour, and gradually pouring in heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and stir until thickened.
Stir in grated cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
Serve the chicken steak with white sauce and sautéed veggies. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
