Not the Eagles, not the Chiefs. This epic wine is the winner!
Decanted for 90 minutes.
Nose: deep mineral soil, menthol, blackberries. Super powerful. You take one sniff and think this will be too much.
Palate: but then you take a tip and it’s total elegance. Absolutely ready to drink. Dark fruits, vanilla, spices. Smooth tannins. It gave us goosebumps!
I bought this directly from the winery as an allocation holder for $1,800 but I also got a bottle through the K&L auction for $1,125.
